The three-part solution includes 1.) a mobile handheld reader to read identity cards in remote locations, 2.) software that verifies and validates credentials, and 3.) a synchronization server that integrates directly with your physical access control system (PACS) to determine who may and may not access a facility or area.
The Mobile Badge Management Suite accesses the most recent access control information from the PACS each day. It can store the information so it can function in remote, non-connected locations, such as gates, bus entrances or emergency exits.
The handheld device records inbound and outbound access and can update the PACS in real time (if wirelessly connected) or at a later time if functioning in a non-connected location.
As a mobile extension of your PACS, Mobile Badge Management gives you the power to manage access whenever and wherever you need.
