LogoMaxID Corp. was formed in 2007 to acquire MaxID Ltd. in the United Kingdom and Sygade Solutions (Pty) Ltd. in South Africa (subsequently renamed MaxID (Pty) Ltd.) and to pursue global sales opportunities for our mobile computing devices and identity management solutions. Between July 2007 and April 2008, The firm raised capital from individual investors to finance the acquisitions of the U.K. and South African businesses. In the United States we operate from offices in Pleasanton, California and in Virginia Beach, Virginia. In addition, we maintain offices or operations in the United Kingdom, Germany, Taiwan, China and South Africa.

In 2009 the company introduced its most powerful mobile computer, the iDL750, which is based on the Atom Processor from Intel and capable of running Windows 7 and XP. The company also made its first sale of handheld biometric identity devices to the United States Coast Guard. In 2010 the firm has expanded both its Board of Directors and leadership team to better prepare itself for expanded identity-related business with both the US Federal government and commercial enterprises.
