Michael has helped several technology firms launch initial public stock offerings, including Kana Communications, Genesys Telecom and Network Appliance. Genesys later was sold to Alcatel, a French telecommunications company, for $1.2 billion. ![]() Brian SkibaPresident, MaxID Corp USMr. Skiba serves as President of MaxID Corp US and oversees Product Development and Corporate Strategy. He served as Chairman of MaxID Corp for two years prior to taking his current operational position. Mr. Skiba was the founder and managing partner of Treadstone Advisors LLC, a strategy consulting and advisory firm. Previously to this, he was a partner at Arma Partners LLP, a London-based, technology-focused M&A advisory firm where he was involved in over $1 billion of cross-border technology M&A transactions. Mr Skiba was a former ranked equity research analyst and equity strategist on Wall Street. At Deutsche Bank, he was a Managing Director, the Global Technology Strategist, and a Senior Equity Research Analyst. At Lehman Brothers, Mr. Skiba was a Senior Equity Research analyst in both the United States and Europe. Mr. Skiba was also Senior Equity Research analyst at Cowen & Company. He oversaw over more than 40 capital market transactions and the raising of over $5 billion for software and technology firms during his Wall Street tenure. Prior to his career on Wall Street, Mr. Skiba was founder, President and CEO of two software companies that were subsequently sold. He has developed over 17 commercial products. Mr Skiba holds a BSBA from Boston University and an MBA from the Amos Tuck School of Management at Dartmouth College. ![]() Dr. Anthony J. TetherDr. Anthony Tether served as director of the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency, DARPA, from June 18, 2001, until February 20, 2009. As of September 8, 2009, Tether is a member of the SSCI Scientific Advisory Board. Scientific Systems Company, Inc. (SSCI) is a developer of technology solutions for defense and industrial suppliers. Previous to being Director at DARPA, Dr. Tether held the position of Chief Executive Officer and President of The Sequoia Group, which he founded in 1996. The Sequoia Group provided program management and strategy development services to government and industry. From 1994 to 1996, Dr. Tether served as Chief Executive Officer for Dynamics Technology Inc. From 1992 to 1994, he was Vice President of Science Applications International Corporation’s (SAIC) Advanced Technology Sector, and then Vice President and General Manager for Range Systems at SAIC. Prior to this, he spent six years as Vice President for Technology and Advanced Development at Ford Aerospace Corp., which was acquired by Loral Corporation during that period. From 1982 to1986 Dr. Tether also held positions in the Department of Defense, where he served as Director of DARPA’s Strategic Technology Office. He was Director of the National Intelligence Office in the Office of the Secretary of Defense from 1978 to 1982. Prior to entering government service, he served as Executive Vice President of Systems Control Inc. from 1969 to 1978, where he applied estimation and control theory to military and commercial problems with particular concentration on development and specification of algorithms to perform real-time resource allocation and control. Dr. Tether has served on Army and Defense Science Boards and on the Office of National Drug Control Policy Research and Development Committee. He is a member of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) and is listed in several Who’s Who publications. In 1986, he was honored with both the National Intelligence Medal and the Department of Defense Civilian Meritorious Service Medal. Dr. Tether received his Bachelor’s of Electrical Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in 1964, and his Master of Science (1965) and Ph.D. (1969) in Electrical Engineering from Stanford University. ![]() Peter MurrayPeter Murray joined the Board of Directors at MaxID Corp in 2007. Mr. Murray had a 20-year career in investment banking at Morgan Stanley where he was a Managing Director. During his successful tenor at Morgan Stanley Peter ran businesses in Asia, Europe and Globally. He served as a Board Member for Morgan Stanley Europe between 2001 and 2004. Peter is currently running an investment business investing in technology and other high growth sectors. Mr. Murray holds a MA from Oxford University. ![]() Brian MorrisBrian Morris is a Director at IFM Trust Limited in Jersey. Brian has over 30 years of years experience in accountancy, corporate finance and taxation services, as well as trust and corporate management and administration services.
